Hi y’all! My name is Katie Liz, and I’m your guide for Tri-State Southern Belles.
I’ve started Tri-State Southern Belles (TSB for short) as a way of celebrating the unique Southern Belle tradition of the Tri-State area, Tri-State meaning Kentucky, Ohio, and West Virginia.
Being a Southern Belle is a lifestyle; tips, tricks, and traditions passed down from mamas and grandma’ams. Those little things that make life enjoyable and exciting. The best thing about being a Belle is that no matter your size, color, or creed, you can be a Belle. Belles are known for their class, manners, and character, not necessarily for their preferred brand of clothes.
Tri-State Belles covers everything from recipes, local activities, history, style, and just about everything in between. If you have anything you’d like me to mention, please e-mail me at MissKatieLiz [at] gmail dot com!
About Katie Liz
Well, first and foremost, I describe myself as a Southern Belle. My life’s goal is to make everything pretty, and I do mean everything. I’m in love with anything and everything crafty (except needle point), and would love to pick up woodworking if I had the time or space. I have two cats, love makeup and painting my nails, and am a recovering sorority girl. I hate driving and thick pasta noodles. I own my own design studio, Mariette Studios, which offers home decorating, wedding and event decorating, personal branding, wardrobe consultations, and sorority rush/recruitment consultation. If you need something else done that sort of artsy/crafty, ask me and I’ll see what I can do.
Tri-State Belle Policies
-Following the FCC’s guidelines, I will note if an item was submitted to me for review.
-Most of the items on this website can be purchased at local stores or chains. It makes no sense to show items that you have to drive 5 hours away to look at, and many in this area don’t like to shop online.
